Chuck Morgan has been a partner at Dunn, Nutter & Morgan, LLP since 1977. He has lived in Texarkana for most of his life and is deeply committed to the community.
After receiving a JD degree from Baylor Law School, Mr. Morgan was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1973 and the Arkansas Bar in 1974. He appears in front of the US Tax Court, US District Court in the Eastern District of Texas, the US District Court in the Western District of Arkansas, Arkansas and Texas State Courts, and routinely appears before the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission.
Mr. Morgan is board certified in Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In addition to the Texas and Arkansas State Bars, he is a member of the American, Texas, Arkansas, Northeast Texas, Southwest Arkansas, and Texarkana Bar Associations, and Phi Alpha Delta. He is a Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and a Real Property Oil and Gas Fellow in the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. He has served as chairman or member in the following sections of the American, Texas, and Arkansas Bar Associations: Natural Resources Law; Economics Law; Real Property, Probate and Trust Law; and Computer Law Section Council. He is also the author of numerous articles for the Petroleum Landsman’s Association and other organizations.
