R. Gary Nutter

A native of Harriman, Tennessee, Gary Nutter joined the firm in 1971 and became partner in 1974. He earned a JD degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1971. His practice largely focuses on insurance defense and utilities law. Eighty percent of his practice is devoted to litigation.

A natural litigator, Mr. Nutter appears in Arkansas and Texas State Courts, the US District Court in the Eastern District of Texas and the US District Court in the Western District of Arkansas. He is a member of the State Bars of Arkansas and Texas; the American and Arkansas Bar Associations; the Texas and Arkansas Bar Foundations; the Texas and Arkansas Associations of Defense Counsel; the International Association of Defense Council; the Defense Research Institute; and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
