James L. Cook is a native of Hattiesburg, Mississippi who earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1979. In 2001, he received a JD degree with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law and was subsequently admitted to the State Bar of Arkansas and the State Bar of Texas. He has been practicing family and civil litigation law at the firm since 2001.
Mr. Cook practices in all Arkansas State and Federal Courts, as well as all Texas State and Federal Courts. In addition to the state bars of Arkansas and Texas, he is a member of the Texarkana Bar Association, and the American Inns of Court.
